    Furniture for flexible urbanism.

Within a more fluid concept of space, furniture also wants to be mobile and able to morph. Kindred is a re-configurable, re-deployable planter-seating system composed of three modules and designed to add visual and functional dimension to multi-purpose open space. Kindred’s streamlined, easy to manufacture parts quickly assemble and reassemble to create varied combinations of seating and greenery, while the powder-coated steel finish allows for an array of colors.

As a pragmatic, scalable space-building system, the interaction between objects—as well as people and plants—is more important than the objects themselves. Kindred’s triangular nodes aggregate in myriad compositions, acting in dialogue with each other and the landscape to shape the experience of space. What’s there today may reorganize into something new tomorrow.
