Intentional Shift is an interactive site-specific performance and artist focus group series that brings closure to our work at

. For almost a decade, it has been a great honor and joy for us to collaborate with community members to transform this formerly forbidden industrial landscape to a place that could be loved by and benefit the community. As an intentional goodbye to the community, Intentional Shift will feature collaborations with local artists and community storytellers, culminating on September 24th with a site-specific dance performance and arts installation at . Audiences will be invited to explore how communities inhabit space, how spaces influence bodies, how design can bring communities together, and how history is held in individual and collective bodies.

Co-Directed by choreographer

and spatial designer-activist, with additional support from Envelope A+D and funding from a , Intentional Shift hopes to become a living part of the community, and that collaborators, participants, and witnesses alike feel empowered to continue efforts toward activism and spatial justice.
